Katahdin Cedar Log Homes is the largest processor of Northern White Cedar in the World !! KLCH  was founded in 1973 by
Foster Gordon. His son David Gordon, is President , and continues the traditions founded by his father. High quality White Cedar log homes at a Affordable price. White Cedar is made affordable by utlizing all of the raw product. They've  taken some fairly radical measures to make sure they are building and manufacturing "green" - not only with their home designs, but at the mill.
They recycle the waste wood into steam heat with a state-of-the-art industrial biomass boiler, and buying our Northern White Cedar from nearby sustainable forests. The Cedar that isn't used as wall logs in houses is milled into attractive fencing, railings, decking, siding or trim. No part of the Raw product is wasted.

KCLH was chosen to build a home on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project, over 1100 volunteers worked around the clock to construct a 4000 sq. ft. Dream Home for the Goodale Family. Doug Goodale, a lobster fisherman, had lost his arm in a fishing accident on Sept. 1997. KCLH also helped make a Pelion, South Carolina family finally feel at home – with the first log home ever donated to a chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  Katahdin is dedicated to sharing the some of the Good Fortune with which they've been graced.

It's  a No-Brainer.... KCLH offers quality cedar for the same price as pine: Check below to see how Canadian White Cedar
